Pearlware "Carlton House" Plate
Description:
A wonderful Staffordshire pearlware child's plate, Circa 1810, titled "A Visit to Carlton House." Enamel decorated with a relief moulded border and excellent condition. Carlton House was the London home of the Prince Regent and the plate could be a humorous depiction of the Prince and Mrs. Fitzherbert.
