Rare “Aesop’s Fables” Pearlware Fox

A rare, and I believe unrecorded,  Staffordshire pearlware model of a fox, Circa 1825. The fox is glancing up at a bunch of grapes which is allegorical of the Aesop’s Fable of the Fox & Grapes. The figure is decorated in the manner of Obadiah Sherratt, and in excellent condition.

Condition: Excellent
Size: 4” tall (10cm)
